1. Make sure you warm up first, you know your warm when you begin to sweat.
2. The key to results is pushing yourself to failure and having a workout partner or trainer.
3. For all my sweet tooth friends out there the best time to eat sweets is right after a workout but who really wants to eat sweets after a workout right. The reason for this is the cell's glucose levels are low from training and they need to be replenished. However the best post workout would be a complex carb and a protein. An example would be brown rice and chicken or a legumes and eggs or egg whites.
Eat smaller meals more often and drink 80 to 100 ounces of water a day.
Take a tablespoon of Omega 3 Fatty Acid each day! Why? Omega fatty acids improve brain function and can assist in lubricating joints.

Team CJ was established in 2000. C3 is our target for each client which stands for Create, Commit and Conquer your workout every day. I, CJ Walsh, started personal training in Santa Rosa in March 2000 after I received my American Sports Medicine Certification as a personal trainer in San Francisco. I started training in an upscale club in Santa Rosa called, Montecito Heights Health and Racquet Club. I became the number #1 trainer there after one year and trained there for three years. I moved to Los Angeles in late December 2003 and hit the pavement running. I have taught 5 different classes including cycling, running, ab training, circuit training and kickboxing. I am currently teaching 5 classes including three functional classes and 2 high octane ab circuit classes at Knockout. I train clients in muscle sculpting, weight loss, swimming, running, and sports specific training.
I create and offer individual nutrition programs. I have a certification in Diet Counseling from the Institute of Educational Therapy. C3 knows nutrition is at least 80% of developing an incredible body inside and out.

C3 training is agressive and we believe in interval training to warm up. Interval training begins on a treadmil, bike or ellipitical machine and consists of anerobic training for at least one minute then resetting to a rate where you are aerobically trainining, meaning you can hold a conversation. After 10 minutes of Interval training, we go in to the C3 functional training. We have each client go through 3 exercises and the last one is 60 seconds of cardiovascular movement. Our signature movement is called "Good Mornings." Please make sure to ask one of our clients or trainers to explain. C3 believes in learning perfect form and practicing it every time. C3 will create an ideal program tailored to your needs. C3 is committed to you sweating each and every training. C3 CREATE, COMMIT, CONQUER!
My group training classes are three times a week on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and on Saturday’s from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. This is a quick paced full function class where you will work every muscle in your body. We do exercises in threes with a minute of cardio every 4 to 5 minutes. The class is guaranteed to get you sweating and create muscle tone. Squats, burbies, push ups are a staple and don’t forget the six pack ab routine.
Gym class is a circuit ab training class at Knockout that meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8am to 9am. Each class provides new exercises to challenge your core and whole body. We set up at least 10 different stations to develop muscle tone and core strengh. Each person chooses a station and the class begins you get 60 seconds at each station plus a 60 second cardiovascular exercise every third station. This class is designed for all levels of fitness.
C3 enjoys a unique and rewarding situation with special need kids. We have been working with Mychal's Learning Place for over two years now. C3 trains a group of 20 special needs teenagers every Thursday. C3 expanded it's relationship with Mychal's Learnining Place to individual training at Knockout. C3 knows that each special needs client has made great strides. In particular Andrew Goldman a sixteen year old boy has seen his motor skills improve especially his reading skills thanks to C3 training.
